Is there visually a way to quickly distinguish between non PI and PI 2V's?

Pi intake the first runner goes to the driver side. Non pi the first runner goes to the passenger side.

You need to be careful if using something easily replaced like an intake for cues: One could install a PI intake on a NPI engine... Check the build-sticker on the driver's head valve cover. Build dates before 1999 should make you believe it's a NPI...
