Quick Shock/Strut Question

my last post was dealing with my shocks and if they were hurting me if they were squishy or not.

So... my question is, would I benefit the same if I just got some cheap ole struts and shocks from oreilys? Or should I get the more expensive KYB's or something like that? Whats the difference? I don't have much money and I need some shocks soooo.... help me out guys.

What year you need? I just took struts and rear shocks of an 84 with 40,000 miles becasue I was upgrading brakes. They seem to be ok. Make me an offer you pay shipping.

If you are just looking for replacement shocks and struts and don't have much money then I think some good replacements will work just fine. They will be better than runing bad shock and struts.

Do you think 165 bucks is too much to pay for KYB struts and shocks?
