Flowmaster Force III is supposed to be quiet. Not like stock though.

I still have the stock exhaust and am just about to order a catback system.I also want a system that's on the quieter side.I am being told and I am reading that the regular magnaflows are the quietest.

Ya, Magnaflow, Ultraflow is a nice muffler that still has a v8 rumble but it very respectable for the street. I sht canned my flow masters and I don't regret it.

I have 3 chamber flowmasters, MAC shorties, and a VRS X pipe, no cats. It is NOT QUIET. And it got much louder with the GT40P heads and E-cam.

I've read the Borla Mufflers, flowed by Super Turbo's then the Magnflows. I just got a pair of the Borla Pro XS's. Hope to have them welded in sometime this month.

Will update how they sound

The Bassani Quiet Thunder is realitively quiet but will certainly let you know when you're hard on the gas. Exhaust note has a fairly deep rumble and the kit comes with tail pipe inserts (which I've never used). Put em in if you want a little more quiet or just leave em out. Either way, the Bassani no where near obnoxious.

What is the source for your "sound off" numbers? This assumes the rest of the exhaust system is stock or what?

i have the MAXFLOWS on my car with an off road x and long tubes and at idle you can hardly tell the car is running but at WOT watch out it gets really loud. no drone and sound kinda raspy i get alot of compliments on them and its not the typical flowmaster sound.
