Quite S-trim?

Hey guys i have a V-1 S-trim and i it is so quite you can barely hear it at an idle. It works fine and produces 12lbs of boost no problem. I know its not a sc-trim or an sq-trim so i dont no why it is so quite anybody have an idea?

Did you buy it new or used? If used, maybe someone had it rebuilt with the helical gears.

mine is loud, maybe they when you got the SC they gave you the SQ.

not its an s-trim stamped right on it and everything

The blower data plate should say V-1 or V-2... Like mentioned above, if you bought it used, it could have been sent back & rebuilt with helical gears, like the V-2's(SQ's)
