he will need the performer, and might have to step up to the 4.10's to play with your kid...those Green Machine's lay down a solid and real flat torque curve...

Hey the seat on the Green Machine is retractable so anyone can ride it including myself. My son is so into Nascar (I'm nof a big fan) but he told me it was too loose in the corners. So I tighten the bolts on the linkage to tighten the ride up. Then he told me the front was too tight so I took some air out of the front tire. It's pretty cool that a 5 year old can set up a big wheel with Nascar terms.

LS1

The LS1's at least in the vettes are 340 HP, The real one to look out for is the Z06 vette, 405 hp, But people in vettes (except for me) will hardly ever race.

know the enemy

Found this on my old forums..

A lot depends on elevation of track, density air that day which is temp, bar and humidity...the model of ls1 with z28s being lighter than the tas and verts..
Example where I live the ls1s are low 14 second cars.1900 feet elevation..two near stock..one had lid I think and maybe catback ls1s ran like 14.0 no thirteens the other day.Mine currently up here with quite a few mods on street tires runs best of 13.7 and other buddies with most bolts ons but no cam /headers/heads runs 13.8 best.
Another buddy with full heads/cam/longtubes all bolts ons runs only 12.5 at 115 on street tires.
