I just bough the Summit Racing plastic racing seat and was wondering how you guys mount in your cars without rollbars and still using the factory seat belt?
No....you can use the seat belt! I went with the X2C motorsport seats and all you have to do is keep the stock mount for the seats! I went to Lowes and purshased 2 metal predrill plates about 1 in thick with cross drilled holes in them. It took me a whole 20 mins a piece to mount them in! Just get creative and use the stock mounts! Both seats took 120lbs off the car and they color matched perfect!
