67 mustangs. IMO the crucial part (re safety) of this conversion is the
custom cross-member.
I would like to ask on the material (steel grade) that such crossmember
should be made of. Is regular low carbon steel (iron) ok, or I need a
higher grade steel with a higher tensile strength and lesser ductility?
My design of the crossmember is similar to one in RSS kit (non-tubular,
using OE tie rods).
