I finally figured out that my rack bushings were what was causing my car to wander on the highway. I had replaced the struts and all four tie rods trying to figure out why the car would pull one way then immediately seems to pull the other way.

I made a video of the movement of the stock bushings while the car was sitting in the driveway. The stock bushings are complete mush and have been that way since when I bought the car with 68,000 miles. I know there was a TSB for this but if you think about it putting on a shorter tube will only compress the stock bushing and not stop the side to side compression like a harder polyurethane bushing, I bought the Energy Suspension polyurethane rack bushing ENS-4-10103G with no offset. The bushings are only $10.99 from Summit Racing and are quite easy to replace.

You Tube video of the before and after difference.

I've heard people say that we get play in our rack bushing but I never thought it would be that much at that mileage. I'm at also 85K right now so I think I'll go check mine.

I also bought my car with right around 68K.
