Radiator Pressure Question

I have 180dg Thermostat and 3 core radiator and my top hose is soft with no pressure and I'm not overheating,is this normal with a bigger radiator and low temperature thermostat...gauge stays on the L

The gauge looks about right for a 180 (they are all a bit different where they "ride"). Have you checked/burped the system? The top hose doesn't get all that hard even if the system is in full circulation.

How's your radiator cap? That's what usually regulates the pressure
