Im not to fantastic with electrical, so please bear with me. I've had this problem since I bought the car, but since its been basically parked I havent really had to deal with it to much. However since im about to fix the radiator and steering, I need to get this fixed since ill actually be able to drive the car in a few weeks.
Heres my problem: I have the original stock radio in the car and while driving, without warning it will power off/on. It does this at random. When it powers off, it will stay off for anywhere from 1 second, to five minutes, to the entire time i'm driving the vehicle. Then when I turn the vehicle off and back on again, it will work for maybe weeks (or maybe seconds), and then it will turn off for another long while. There is no specific condition which appears to trigger this. Im stumped, perhaps the radio is bad IDK.
