I'm installing an aftermarket radio...i need to know which wires (color) are for the accessories, battery and ground...im using mu own amp so i removed the stock amp-...can anyone help me out??

i only need to plug my accessory, battery, ground and remote..what numbers should i get to test them and how do i test them..i have a tester handy

Just look for 12 volts, Power all the time would be for memory, power at key on and accessory would be for your main power. And then just ground to a good clean metal surface.

yellow- ignition feed
black- ground
red- power

green, gray, white and purple are the speaker wires

Acc= key on hot. Connect it to the wire that's hot with the key on, cold with the key off.

Batt is the constant power wire. It's for presets and the clock.

its alot better if you just buy the harnes they sell them at autozone that way u dont cut any wires of the ariganal harnes just follow the colers on the new harnes ther the same as your radios.

Do you have a friend that's done installs? This is a 2 minute project.

Grab the 3 wires in the stock harness that you are evaluating. Get your test light. WIth the key off, find the wire that has 12 volts. This is the battery wire.

Turn the key on and find the wire that was dead with the key off, but now has 12 volts with the key on. This would be the accessory wire.

You can use the accessory wire for the remote amp turn on if your deck does not have a dedicated Remote turn on lead (it's often Blue on aftermarket deck wiring harnesses).
