rattling noise for drive shaft

Today I noticed that whenever I first pull off and right before I come to a stop I hear rattling from under the car. I jacked the car up and ran it in first gear and it sounds like the noise is comming from the drive shaft. Could something be loose inside it.

Check the bolts keeping it tied to the rear.

It also could be something from inside the exhaust system ( Muffler ) coming loose.

Its definetly something loose inside the drive shaft. I removed it from the car took off both u joints and shook it. It sounded like a rock in a can.
