Real Quick, where to connect tach wire???

Installing my new tachometer in my 95gt. I can't figure out where to connect the signal wire to the coil. The one that actually reads rpm. the instruction were pretty good up until this and they say to connect to the negative wire. but when I use my test light it seems all wires going in are positive, because the test light lights up on all of them. thanks for any help you can give me.

on my 90 i ran the wire from the tach to one of the wires that attaches to the electrical connector for the coil itself. i think it is the - wire, but it has been several years since i installed it. you may want to double check just to be sure. does the company that makes your tach have a website maybe?

if you can't see a + or - on the coil, the "-" wire should be tan in color

the red w/green stripe is the + wire, connect it to the tan wire and it should work-not the red, that will fry the tach
