I've looked at Dallas Mustang and Brothers.

Anyone else I should check out? I need the carrier, pinion and axle.

I got the master kit from Latemodel Restoration Supply this spring. Although it is the FRPP kit, the bearings are actually manufactured by Ratech for Ford.

My old rear end was howling by the time I took my car down the dragstrip a couple times after I first bought it and in stock form, the previous owner had some issues but he had it fixed thru warranty.

So I bought the Ratech Deluxe kit from Summit for like 110$ and had it installed and I havent had an issue since. It was a quality kit and install too! I recommend the Ratech kit personally, I am very pleased, now I just need to upgrade to a taller gear...

I had all the bearing replaced when I had the gears done. I had issues with a bad pinion so he swapped out everything. Now the noise is back but I've probably put 100K since then. I just want a kit that comes with everything so I don't have to piece it together.

Got a quote for 300 labor. Anyone think that is good?

If that price included a diff rebuild, then yeah. Otherwise, eh, maybe.
