rear black out panel???

Been looking at the rear honeycomb black out panel from CDC or the one AM sells. like the retro look. Anyone have any input?

I have the cdc one...itll look bad ass on a yellow car..i think the one from am will be just as good as the cdc piece..

I can post a pic or two tomorrow if u want?

That would be great! Did you do the tinted rear lights as well? Looking between the two available, the one from AM looks like it sticks out a bit from the deck lid. Not sure if i will like that.

No tint on tails for me...it might be the angle that makes it look like its sticking out...ill snap some pics when i get home...just a warning, the car has been sittinv in the garage for quite a long time so itll be pretty dusty lol

Just looked at the one from am and noticed 2 things

1)mine definitely doesnt stick out that far

2)the am panel doesnt have a spot for the GT or ford emblems

Not sure id u wanted to keep the emblems or not....im pretty sure the back of mine is stamped with a ford part number too

Yes you reuse your factory emblems...youll just have to go to your local autoparts store and buy some 3m double sided tape to put them back on..

That looks good thanks! Ordering the CDC one. If all goes well she will pass inspection today, and I will be set. Took my son for a drive yesterday to the insp. station to drop off. The new springs and 410's make it all kinds of fun. I pitched it sideways a few times for him, smile from ear to ear lol.
