Looking to buy a new hatch glass and was woondering if the defroster is part of the glass or does it get glued on?

The defroster grid will already be on the hatch glass when you order a replacement hatch glass with defroster. I don't know what the availability of one is new, but 7 years ago I know it was. I have seen some on ebay, but usually pickup only. 2 if my grids stopped working within 2 years and Ford never did get them fixed with the paint on grid stuff. But some rear defroster is better than none. Although, I am sure I could live without it.
