I recently bought a 88 foxbody with an 8.8 rear end, I was told it was a 31 spline axle rear end and found out it's actually a 33 spline, the rear is spooled so I'm getting an lsd put in so I don't beak an axle driving it on the street, the strange part is it's a four lug disk brake rear end and I can only find 5 lug 33 spline axles anyone know where to find a 4 lug 33 spline for an 8.8?

If you are removing the spool, to put in a limited slip, just put in a 31-spline lsd and get the proper 31-spline axles.

I'd be more worried about the 4-lugs...vs "downgrading" from 33 spline to 31 splne

Call strange engineering. Does the rear have c clip eliminators or the 9 inch welde ends. You'll need to provide strange with that info. If you have any power adders I would switch to five lug.

This is becoming more of a riddle.
In your first post you are looking for 33 spline 4 lug axles.
In your last post you say you have them.

I have never heard of,a off the shelf 33 spline,4 lug fox axle.
Post some pics of the axle, spline and flange end.
Pressed in studs ?
