rear end gear

I am not trying to be a dick, but if you're having to ask this question, I'd have a shop do it.

Your rear end is not something you should really experiment on. IMO.

I've done it before, but I had experienced help, and he had done it a bajillion times before.

IT just gets kinda meticulous.

Well, if you are mechanically inclined and don't mind tedious work then you can do it. I don't know about your skills, so you will need to figure it out if you think you are up to the job. I have not changed the gears in my car, but I have rebuilt the differential and it was easy. However, it was time consuming and messy. I will be doing gears myself in the next week or two. I am attempting this becasue I am very good at working on my car, and I do all the work to my car myself. If you are average to above average in your mechanic skills then you can do it. Just make sure that you get a good instruction manual.
