im throwing in the towel. I need help with compatibility with rear ends for my 2007 mustang gt convertible with 3.55 gears. I can not for the life of me find a rear end with 31 spline axles in my generation 05-09. I think I'm 31 spline, I got a 3.31 rear end by mistake and I thought I could switch the front yoke but my yoke is too big. Now, the problem with the rear ends ive been getting is the front yoke is about 3 inches shorter than my stock one, if I put it in I have to change my drive shaft. Looking online it looks like the 5.0 rear ends have the longer front yokes that I want. does anyone know if the 5.0's are compatible? If not I'll change my drive shaft. Any help would be awesome.
