Hey guys my 90 coupe is an orginal 4cyl car thats been converted to v8. I got the car from a guy out of state and he didnt exactly tell me what all had been done to the car as far as the suspension went. My question is this I recently rebuilt the motor in the car and it has alot more hp now then it did then and the rear end needs to be beefed up some. I plan on putting subframe connectors torque box reinforcements, and new set of springs and arms under it shortly and was wondering if there was any way to tell which axle my car has under it wether it is the 8.8 like came in the v8 cars or if its still the original 4cyl axle i cant remember the size on it i know its a 7. something i think. I would like to rebuild the axle and rear end gears in it but need to know if i got the right axle or not so i dont order the wrong thing.
