Rear Gear Swap? & svt Focus vs. A4 vs. Mustang

depends on year/transmission. you need gears, while your doin it you might as well get a god tlok, and installation is gonna run you anywhere between 300-450. they should have an install kit, but if not, thats another 50-100 depending on what you get. 94-04 manual, you can get a tuner or a speedcal from dallas mustang. 94-98 auto, you need a speedo gear or a speedcal. 99-04 auto, only way to calibrate is a tuner.

as for the race, you will probably lose to both without some modifications. ud pulley, intake spacer, exhaust, short shifter for 5-speed (wont make you faster, but will make shifting more fun and easier), the gears will provide the biggest bump in acceleration though.

What track did you go to and what were your times? What was the A4's times?

The TB Spacer is a waste by the way. UD pulley, tuner, chip, nitrous.
