For the rear, I'm already at $350 per tire, but the size I have now fills the wheel well nicely, so I don't want to change the tire size. Plus I swap back to the stock 18's during winter for better traction in the snow and there's no way I could stand 4.10's with those. So, unless anybody can comment for certain on the Richmond or Motive 3.89's I guess I'll just go with the FRPP 3.73's.

Unless you have a really short 18" tire, then the tire height should nearly the same as the 20". 255/45/18 is 27.04" and 275/35/20 is 27.58. The 18" has more sidewall.

Well yes, but I've driven an S197 with the stock 18's and 4.10's and hated not having a useable 1st gear and there is no way I could stand that RPM on the highway for 200+ miles. And I'm getting a blower in less than a year, so 4.10's aren't even an option just because of that.

The RPM difference between 3.90s and 4.10s will only be 100 regardless of the tire height. 3.90s will not be that much different than 4.10s .If you are set on Richmond gears, I will ask the person that did my install if he knows if Richmond gear whine or not.

I'm not set on any brand, i was just trying to find out if they were any good or if they had a bad whine lol I'm open to any brand, and like I said if Ford made a 3.90, it would already be in the mail.

Oh, and I have a Borla exhaust, and where I set my cruise on the highway, that 150 RPM difference puts it RIGHT where they drone like crazy lol I'd go nuts for 3 1/2 hours listening to that lol.
