Rear Main Seal Leak

no, it's simple. When you do the tranny swap just pull the seal & put in the new one. A number of ways to do this. My fav method is two small sheet metal screws screwed right into the seal. Grab them w/ a pair of vicegrips, tap against the vicegrips w/ a hammer to pull it out.

that is my fav method to, unfortunately, I cant always find the darn screws, so I have to end up mangling it to a smaller size till it falls out.
Just be carefull not to scar the crank or the block. as this will cause leakage and or quick wear on the seal.

its not hard! just take a lil while. front wheel drive is worse though!!
