J jbuening Member Apr 28, 2005 399 0 17 Apr 24, 2006 #2 Apr 24, 2006 #2 Not sure how stiff the new ones are, but i removed my shocks without jacking the car up. Just take the nuts, washers, and rubber off and compress the shock by hand. Worked on my rear shocks anyways.
