Only the 4cyl cars had different springs. I've replaced the springs on both my fox verts and my hatch. The aftermarket springs I used didn't specify vert or not when ordering. Some aftermarket springs do have different part numbers when ordering for the different cars. Just be sure you click on the right one.

Last time i started a thread asking for codes, i did get different replies based on GT, notch, vert, etc. SO it leads me to think there are minor differences
