Hey, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem as me and could help me. I noticed this a couple weeks ago...As I was pulling onto the highway, I saw I needed to gun it and let off pretty quckly to get in between two cars. When I did this, I got up to about 50, and as soon as I let off the gas it made a loud squeal, the car jumped a little bit, then it was fine. I tried to recreate it numerous times, and it only does it in between 45-55. Also, the car is pretty much stock except for flows. Anyone know the problem? Thanks in advance for any help I might receive.

The sound seems to be coming from the back of the car. BTW, It's an auto, don't know if that really makes a diff.

It was prolly the kids screaming in the back seat from that intense burst of acceleration to 50mph and then you hit a bump that gave you that jump feeling.

haha, i wish it was that. The problem is seriously getting annoying now that I know it's there, just need to wait to get my paycheck to bring it to the mechanic, but that's in two weeks. So, that's why I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas.

I had a similar problem. It turned out that it was a carrier barring in the diff. It's the barring that supports the yoke. Not to hard to replace.

mine does it too right when the car shifts, usually from 1-2 and 2-3. I figured it's belt slip. Hope it's not the diff cause I don't have money for 4.10's yet

Mine did it also, still does. Did it befor3e and after the 4.10s so it shouldn't be that. It's also exactly when I change gears. It's an Auto.
