Can anyone help me find a tail panel blakout decal? I bought one from ebay and was very disapointed. it was like a giant bumper sticker and a disaster to put on. Prefer matte black! thanks mike first 06 in chattanooga tn vin# 664
I painted mine in my shop, used PPG single stage black and added a flattening agent to get it to about 60% gloss. It will be there as long as the rest of the paint on the car. Any body shop should be able to do this for a nominal fee (cheaper than buying the plastice piece).
I've got a carbon-fiber (design) panel. It's Magnetic; I've been very impressed with it's quality and ease of cleaning, etc. It comes on/off very easily and instantly adds contrast to the Rear panel.
It got it for about $40 off of eBay last year.
I have one of the Mustang Blackout Magnetic panels. It is a matte black and works quite well. They are sold on Ebay or direct through his site. I'm pretty happy with it and it'll do the trick until someone comes out with a more permanent design or I decide to paint it.
