It happens when it gets hot out. James is right. The kit is a couple bucks.

It was recommended to me to get the kit with the glass vile that you break -- it is supposed to work much better than the other style.

That stuff is supposed to be good. I'm not sure how much better it is than the stuff you'd get at Wal Mart, but it seems to work very well. Don't spill it!!

I think I got it at an AutoZone type place -- but even WalMart might have it.

Around here Wally mart has the 'break the vile kind'. Adam, what is the other kind?

This is one job where Prep is key - if that glass and mounting plate are not clean, forget it. Been there and done that.

I think the other kind is just a straight glue in a bottle type stuff. This is the one where you use one part on the windshield and mirror piece and then the stuff in the vile is the epoxy activator -- or something like that.

I gotcha. I think I remember that kind from when I was little. I have not seen it in some time around here (desert heat takes care of mirrors pretty often).

Thanks bud.

I recommend going to a professional auto glass shop and have them stick it on there. Takes 5 minutes, the glue works a lot faster, and it only cost me $5.
