i want to get a set of cams for a 4.6 2v with a procharger set. this is where i'm stuck on where to look. i would like to reuse my valve springs. any recommendations where to look/buy along with rwhp gains. thanks.
I have Crower Stage 2 Blower Cams. I love them. I doubt you can use your stock springs with them though. You will notice a decrease in boost because they are more efficient than the stock cams are, they help the engine breath a lot better. As for HP gains I can't say for sure, I put my stroker in at the same time as the cams but I would guess around 20-30hp.
where can i find the crower stage 2 blower cams? ... and all i would need to install them is new valve springs? just wondering bc i know that you need notched pistons to install mmr's cams
i have been doing some research and like the VT stage 2 cams with my blower setup. besides putting in new valve springs, do i need to mess with anything else like timing or anything? thanks.
