I know a lot of people hate the red interiors, but it has kind of grown on me. then i found someone on clist selling a red interior for real cheap. he said its complete and mint. and my interior is tired. was wondering what you guys think and if anyone has pics of hat my final product might look like that would be sweet. but my car is black and i think it could pull off a red interior. all the pics ive seen are on red cars. if anyone can post pics of their black car with red interior that would be sweet. and feel free to let me know if it would be an abomination.

on a side note my girlfriend thinks it would look better exactly as i described but with a black carpet. Not sure if shes on to something...

I find it funny that someone is selling a complete red interior. If I had something to replace mine with I would throw mine out by the street for the city to pick it up. I would probably still have to pay them to pick it up. On toppic tho your idea isn't that bad of one. I want to say my brother had an 89 gt and it didnt look bad.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beerholder" lol. I personally don't like black interiors for example, and most people do..they depress the hell out me, and are way too hot, but that's me.

I've had them all..tan, black, charcoal gray, red, etc. I think it has a lot to do with the type of car and exterior color. I had a black BMW with a tan int. that was awesome, loved it!. Then again, I had a black 300ZX with black int. and hated it, it was a fast car and all..but too much black.

In the end you should have the color that makes you happy.

Here's my Foxbody, I've since changed the steering wheel to the sport version.

I bought my '82 Capri with a stock "pleather" interior with a wood grain dash and hated it, so I did some changes and made it more tolerable. Not my favorite interior but a little TLC can go a long way.

Mine dash, carpet, and console are "burgundy" and the seats/panels are white. Not quite red, but red enough for most:

With some black accents it doesn't look bad. It's just a color that has to be very very clean in order to look good, once it fades it looks pink and that's not good.

A clean red interior is 10x better than some ragged black interior that someone swapped in "because it's black"

When I changed my red to black, I actually sold my entire interior for $150 except dash.

I still have dash...it's a 10 out of 10 and for some reason I want to keep it.

haha i agree but its actually a reconstructed title so its gonna be a bitch to sell anyways... more reason to keep it. If im ever tight on cash its not worth a damn thing so i might as well keep it... dont bring me down. im trying to see the good.

I think it looks good with the charcoal colored carpet, and the black accents. Pure red is too much, but I think it looks great when mixed

Like 5L5 says, it's better to have a nice red than a crappy black just to have black, and red is far cheaper and easier to find parts. Black exterior w/red interior is a nice combination. Porno Red FTW

I think if you had a two tone with black and the red, that convertible would look way better. That red is just too overwhelming lol
