I'm planning on painting my roof black, but I don't want just a plain old black. I was thinking of doing something like your car, except with red instead of blue. How do you spray the pearl? I'm assuming it's added to the clear after doing the base coat. So it would be base > clear/pearl > clear?

You mix in the pearl with the clear or base paint i think,

Competition orange

Not very many of those running around... although some kind of decal (or painted) should go with... like black racing stripes...
Plain orange doesn't look too good
Thats why I added the stripes.

Although, if I had to pick a red... I would have to go with Rio red. That is one good looking red. But from your list, I would go for Redfire.

Yea.... for some odd reason ive grown to love dark red... when kept in nice shape it looks great...

If you intend on spraying the car yourself just be aware that Metallics and Pearls are a royal pita to spray.

Just a word of caution. =x Don't want to see you screw up your Stang.
