Does someone know if the inside felt strip that sits on top of the door panel comes off when you remove the door panel or is it fixed somehow to the top of the window? I am about to put new window tint on the car and I was thinking it might be a good idea to replace these in efforts to minimize scratches the old felt might put on it.

No worries. I've taken off these door panels plenty of times, worst part about it is getting all the pegs lined up with the holes they go in without getting frustrated and breaking one of them.

Does anyone know what it would be called? Inside window felt maybe?

I called late model and they told me they don't have the part I am looking for. Kinda bummed by that. I live close enough to them I might stop by and see for sure if they don't have it.
