I am planning on relocating my battery to the hatch so that i have a place to put a coolant overflow after putting on electric fan. I have 1ga wire for the positive cable so that should be good. but for the ground i was wondering do i just put the wire from the block to the body then just ground the battery to the body in the rear? also where is the best route tu run the pos. cable? thanks

I have my ground ran to the quad shock bolt hole and it works great. I also have an under hood ground going from the lower pass. side of block to the bottom of the sub frame. I have it good on my current setup, the wire goes through my sub frame connectors but on my old setup, I used a bajillion zip ties and ran the frame all the way up, if you prefer, you can get cable mounts and drill holes.

what about running the cables inside of car, I am about to do the relocation also, I was planning on running inside the car, any problems with that?or is it better to run it outside?

My last car had it ran inside, it was no problem other than having to drill a hole in the front floor board and use a grommet.
