Relocating The Throttle Cable

Ok, here's the deal. I purchased a 90 5.0 LX a few weeks ago. One of the things that's "unique" about it is that it has mismatched valve covers.

I finally figured out why when I realized that the "Cobra" valve cover that's on the left side is taller than the stock cover on the right. The Cobra cover would not be able to clear the throttle cable mount.

Is there a way to reposition this so I can put a set of matching valve covers, other than stock?

I can attach pictures later to help show what I am talking about, at work right now and can't do it at this time.

You can use the cobra valve covers, they have a spacer plate that is directly between the upper and lower that accommodates for this issue late model resto carries it.

Thanks! I believe I was over thinking the issue. Now, to get a matching set of covers
