I would like to have key FOBs for my car, I didn't get any when I bought it. I have 2 keys, 1 works the trunk and doors and 1 the ignition. It does have power locks in the doors and appears to have a power release on the trunk lock.
How do I determine if my car has this feature?
Keyless entry module is on the drivers side rear quarter panel. You will have to pull back the trunk liner and see if your car has the option. There are pictures on the net that show what the module looks like. If you have it then you need to purchase the remotes and program then. My wife’s convertible had the option so I just bought the remotes and programmed them. Now the beater 96 GT I bought last year which I thought was fully loaded did not have the module when I pulled back the liner
