If you've got a 65-early 67, the shaft is solid from the box all the way up to the steering wheel. Think about it when you get hit or hit something head on.

I don't know how you can do that easily without swapping in a 68' steering box, intermediate shaft, and replacing (or shortening) your steering column.

Are you changing to a R&P?

What year is your car?

Jay,

it is a 66 mustang. I have an MII rack in there right now. I was looking at a Flaming River setup, but i hear nothing but horror stories when trying to clear long tube headers. Any ideas? - I will be ordering one of your Billet MC soon.

Oh, and if you have the chance...tell Kim that...I dont 'suck' - she will know who it is (joke)
