If anyone has put on U/D pulleys on their car, how did you remove the alternator pulley? I was trying today and couldnt get it off, it just kept spinning.
Gotta use a compressor with an impact gun..
Since the impact gun is hard to get in there, I use a 3/8 air wrench, which is pretty heavy duty and can impact about 80 ft/lb tq. I had to crank the pressure in the compressor to over 100, then hit it hard...popped right off.

i put the pulley in a chain grip vice thingy, not sure what they are called, but that held it tight for me to unbolt it. very minor bending and depression left in the stock pulley, but it will still work just fine. You end up changing it out anyways.
