what holds the back seat back in. I am trying to remove the seat so I can repair a rear 1/4 window in my 90 convertible. I have everything out but the rear seat back.
ok I figured that out, but now I am still trying to get into the window to see why its loose. Anyone have diagram or something that will tell me what all I have to remove?
I assume you have removed both the rear seat bottom and back as well as the interior rear quarter trim pieces, seatbelt and supporting hardware. You should be looking right at the window motor which is bolted to a metal panel. If you remove the motor you can see down into the regulator and if you unbolt the interior support panel with the felt on it that guides the 1/4 window up and down, you can see down there, other than that I beleive you have to drill out the rivits holding the metal panel that the window motor bolts to. hope it helped some.
