removing fuel injectors?

To get the fuel injectors off of the lower manifold you just pull them out. I recommend putting a little marvel mystery oil, or just oil, or wd40 down the side of them to get them out easier.

To get the Fuel Lines off you need a special tool. Do you have it?

They should just pull right out really. Wiggle 'em and pull firmly. That's for the injectors themselves.

For the lines, as mentioned, you need a $10 fuel line kit, which slip into the connections and pry them apart. Only takes a few seconds, too.

If you were planning on pulling the lower intake, you might as well just unconnect the fuel lines like you said and pull the lower w/ the injectors still in it. If you wish to pull the injectors out then, it's a lot easier than them being on the car (i'd assume, I did mine on the car and it was a b*tch). To get the fuel rails off of the injectors, you kinda just gotta pull one side a little and then the other and you may have to wiggle it around a bit and you do have to pull REALLY hard. At first, I was trying to be gentle too and then I got mad and just started tugging and it came off.

As for disconnecting the fuel lines, yeah you need that tool and I think you've already been introduced to how hard this procedure is. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I think you put the tool on there, push the line in, and then pull the line out - I think - it's been a while.

To take out the injectors, just pull the upper and the bolts that hold the fuel rails is doesnt need to be dissconnected. The rail will pull away enough to pop out the injectors, just keep track of the o-rings a couple of mine came off the top and stuck in the rail but a small allen wrench will pick them out if you use the 90* bend.
