I'm trying to take off my hood to replace it, and there are four nuts. two on either side. i started loosening the first nut, it got about halfway, and then the stud that it is on broke. cursed for a bit, then thought its probably a bad stud, ill try the next one. started loosening that one, and then it felt like something broke, and now the nut and stud are spinning as one. wtf. anyone know how i fugged up or have any advice?

i got it figured out eventually. involved a hacksaw. i think it was that they were painted that was causing the problem. only on one side too. in hindsight, i think it was because i was using a deep welled socket and it put too much sideways force on it. i used an open ended wrench on the other side with much more success.

anyway, i am replacing the hood and front bumper cover because i wrecked mine, and also adding the grill delete and chin spoiler. the spoiler is on the bumper cover, all i need to do is buy a rivet gun and put it on. pics will be up in a couple days hopefully. hoping the mach 1 pieces will be sweet on a black gt.
