I didn't change the thrust plate on mine. As for the roll master, I'm not sure where to get one for the best price. My dad and cousin both got theirs from Ed Curtis. When I rebuild my motor I will be running a roll master too.

thanks for the replies guys, i didn't mean to jack the thread or anything. i live 10 minutes from ed curtis, and am gonna have a cam made by him, so i might just get the plate, as "insurance", it's those little things that can kill you later on. the price of them is crazy tho, i saw 65 for it, hell.....you can get a half a tank of gas with that!

So the question I have for this thread ..... to change the plate .... or not to change the plate?

i think his cams go for 325ish shipped. i'm gonna need 2 mustang cams(both stang will get new ones)and a custom cut nissan cam(for my turbo stanza) so i hope he gives me a good deal. by what i here, he is quite the cam guru

:OT:

If PRP is ever open you can see him up there racing. PRP cancelled last night due to rain, which had stopped by 9am and racing didn't start until 6pm.


Nazstang- it goes without saying that I have had nothing but a GREAT experience with Ed, you are doing the right thing IMO.

thanks canary, he'll be the first guy besides myself, to touch any of my cars, and i have full confidence in him and no worries at all. anyone have any #'s of what they gained with one of ed's cams?
