Replacing fan...need help ASAP!

I have the fan assembly out and I took off the three screws that go into the radiator fan motor, but my question now is how do you take that clip off in the back to take the motor out?

Well I took the clip off, but the motor and fan are still together...what am I missing here?

It's been five or so years since I had to replace mine but if I remember correctly the fan is threaded on to the motor. There should be a place to put a nail or something to stop the motor from turning and the fan will thread off. I am fairly certian that is how I took mine apart but it has been so long it's hard to remember exactly.

just tap the fan shaft with a brass hamer the fan is not screwed on its just pressed on and the clip is just holding it in or just wiggle the fan until it loosens up
