repo sunroof weatherstrip

Guess this belongs in tech.Just wanted to let you guys with sunroofs know that the repo weatherstrip for the glass is great almost bought a ford one for $140.00 saw they came out with a repo at Resto5.0 for 60.00.Fits n looks great

Yeah I paid over a 100 bucks for some from Blue Oval Industries.

Do you guys know if anybody makes the metal framework that goes on the outer edge of the glass?
Mine is all rusty and looks bad.

No one does that I am aware of and that seems to be a usual problem, I ended up sanding mine down really good then Priming and Painting with Trim Paint, it came out awesome.

I have seen a few good used sun roofs at swap meets and stuff for like $5

Mine is severely pitted and distorted though unfortunately.

I wish I could find one that cheap. I was bidding on one on ebay and the reserve wasnt met at $165. It was a new in the box one.
