i am getting in the mood to make my car like new...it just got a new top end...new clutch...its getting new paint too. what i need to know is this...

1. has anyone replaced the bolts in a bullitt gas door, they rust and look like crap.

2. has anyone fixed cracks in leather seats, like with coloring, not to get the wrinkles out but to hide the undyed parts.

3. cheapest replacement headlights, i know you can sand them but i prolly wont.

answer any of these and you'll be appreciated.

1)I haven't personally but you should be able to find some replacement bolts at the auto parts place.
2)No idea, contact an upholstery shop is MY only suggestion
3)What year is your car?

For the headlights, you can get cheap ones from Ebay, but you get what you pay for...you can get OEM Ford headlights from Randy Stinchcomb at about $97.00 each, last I saw. I bought one from Randy about a year ago.

I took mine out after they rusted after first rain
cleaned off the rust and hit them with some black spray paint. It a nice contrast on the car, but i do have alot of black to match. You could also spray some clear on it to keep em from rusting. Kinda BS they sell you a billit aluminum product and put cheesy non-stainless hardware. Iy is a visual enhancement isn't it?
