Hey everybody....just one quick question. I'm installing a Magnaflow x-pipe next week in my garage and had a question regarding the upper studs that connect the stock h-pipe to the headers. I already bought another gasket for the passenger side when I'm installing the x-pipe, but I didn't know if I could reuse all of the studs from the stock H and use them to connect the x-pipe to the headers. At the dealership they told me that they cost $10 a piece so I'm hoping I can reuse all the existing studs. I have a new can of PB Blaster all ready so all I needed was this question answered. Thanks!

I reused mine but some people had issues with the stud shoulders not allowing you to tighten them up. Mine fit and bolted up fine. I guess the only way to find out is to bolt it up and see if you have any leaks

Don't do this job twice. For about $8 hit your local Napa store and pic up some new Drivers Side Studs.

So I just need to pick up the drivers side studs? Or do I need to get four from NAPA? Are the passenger side studs a different number? Thanks!

I got mine from ford to fit a 98 f150 with a 4.6, they fit pertect and don't have the shoulder that stops the Magnaflow flange from thightening down properly. Yes I only had to do the drivers side.
