With a reverse manual valve body in place of a stock valve body, will i have to upgrade vacumm modulators? Would i need a vacumm modulator at all? I was just thinking about this before i actually do the swap.
Thanks

You shouldn't need the modulator at all. You're controllig the shifting so there isn't a need for it.

A reverse valve body DOES not mean a manual valve body. However, IF you are going to stay auto-magic on the trans, in my opinion without manual control, especially of a classic c-4 torque-o-matic go standard tranny. The C-4 is an outstanding building block but in it's stock mustang form, it's simply not very intersting!

Since a reverse valve body works backwards, you mean you dont have to manually shift it? I know they have air shifters for them. But I didnt know the tranny would work on its own? Thats interesting.

Why would you switch to a reverse valve body if you weren't going to shift it manually? That would kinda defeat the purpose it seems......

you don't need a modulator at all. the modulator is what your tranny uses to determine shift points. with the manual v/b, it's not used/needed.
