Anyone catch the review in Hot Rod magazine? It looks to me like the test was counter-productive; the lifters restored the low-end on the dyno but then lost the top end...

What do you think?

I ran them in my Chevy 383 to tame the cam at idle - suggested by John Lingenfelter for my street car. Haven't thought about using them in a Stang, but it could be a REALLY good way to tame a cam for use in SD applications that need good vacuum for good idle.

Thanks Tmoss
I reckon I'd bump it to the top and see if anyone else has any experience with them.

Might work well for some cams and your finicky 94-95 EECs too. Who's gonna try it first?

I've been thinking about using them in my 351, but it's a non-roller block so I don't think I'll be able to. I need retro-fit rollers and I didn't see them available from Rhodes.

I need more proof before I try it. The only firm data I have is this magazine article and a general discussion in this book; neither are convincing. But the idea seems brilliant on paper.
