05BlackV6, there are plenty of reasons why people dont like or own a Mustang so lose the attitude about others owning something that isnt a 'Stang.

The guy who owns that Civic probably loved it and puts his money into because he thinks it looks good and there are probably many others that like it too. He doesnt go to sleep @ night dreaming about buying a Mustang.

Very true Dan. I may not prefer the vehicle over my Stang, but it is a personal statement to whoever owns it. This life is so full of BS, if it makes him/her happy then more power to them on their personal quest to build their wreckage.

While I don't care for the car, at all, let's give some Props to the metal worker! That is some work of art! I'd like that sheet metal guy working for me!

Send that to Car & Driver for their 10 Best issue--they would definitely feature it in the 10 ugliest cars...

I wouldnt give him ***** for buying a civic but look at what he did to it. I don't care if he didn't buy a mustang, a ford, or a domestic for that matter....as long as its not ridiculously ugly like that. But he seems to have come to his senses cause he's seling it. If not, let him live in his world. he likes fart cans..so what?

Damn thats ugly.

Agreed, the work itself isn't too shabby, but the subject matter is whacked.

Observations:

I hope the fuel filler in the roof never leaks or anyone enjoying a smoke in the back seat is due for a rude awakening.

The CoD for that thing must be like .6 at least .

I never dream about buying a mustang. Hell the fact is I bought it because I wanted a sports car that was good and AMERICAN while saving up to get what I really do want. Can you guess what that is? Just curious. I just used the Stang as an example. If he loves it then more power to him. I never saw he point in doing anything like that to a car. To me, upgrades, especially like that, degrade and destroy a car. I'm sorry if my opinion differs from yours, but God didn't make us carbon clones. Don't get your panties all in a bunch.

My ultimate car?

Between 2000-2002 Dodge Viper RT/10 in either Red, Black, or Graphite Metallic.

Prefer the Graphite.

Actually I love my mustang, but it BURNS me that I could have gotten a 1994 Rt/10 Viper for THE SAME PRICE or LESS!!!!!

Oh Well, I'd rather wait for a gen II from the three years listed above anyway.

As you said pliskin Dreeeeaaaam. Dream dream dream. Dreeeaaaaam.

I think someone did a nice job on this car. Not my cup of tea, but to each their own. Only thing I can't figure out is why so much time and expense was spent on the body and interior, but under the hood, untouched and unpainted .

Looks to me like an incredible amounbt of work and talent. Esp to be in metal and not glass. Dont like the big spoiler going over the back but without that its not bad. Someone needs to put a custom tube frame and smallblock v8 under it.

Kinda reminds me of George Barris, King of the Kustomizers... just happened to hear him on a radio program today. He is now 80 and still going strong. Heres a link to some of his work, some vehicles will be familar.
http://www.barris.com/gallery.html

Besides these he also did the General Lee, Herbie the love bug etc.

Used to be a lot more total custom cars.. kind of a dying part of the hobby now.

Good point. The Batmobile and Munstermobil are both pretty wack too but I love those cars! However, this guy should have taken some of the $ from the exterior "upgrades" and put them into something under the hood. It's not for me but someone thinks it's worth paying $8199 for as of 9/15.

I think someone missed the decimal key and meant to bid $81.99. But then again, why would you want to overpay for it?
