Yeah, they are probably just as good of a gear. But you will need to set pinion depth with a very expensive tool that only a few shops own.

With the FMS gears, you calculate the difference in pinion head thickness, and add/subtract the shims as needed. And you will not likely need a carrier shim kit b/c the backlash will probably come out within spec and not need any adjustments.

Whether or not you are installing them yourself, get the FMS ones. It makes it idiot proof, seriously.
