You sure a 315 on a 9" wheel would work? Mine are 11" wide and the narrower than most Nitto's are flush with the lip, a 9" would buldge alot I would think.

Well, I have awhile to research it, but I had 275's on the 8" rim, and I know my neighbor has 315's on a Steeda Ultralite 9" rim..

Maybe some others could chime in..

BTW: is there a size b/t 275 and 315 in Nitto 17's??

Also, what is the recommended tire for the back? Ther are Extremes, 455, 555, DR's

they look great you made a good choice and as far as rear tires i would try a 285 /nitto 555, that would look good but not hang out too much .unless you need a drag radial for tracton issues

Joe, I told Rob any 20 inch rim on the American Racing site with tires $1950 shipped. Any 22's with tires $2300 shipped. Navigator would look banging with 22's Yo!

well the drag 555r 's work real well for me and they do work good in the rain too , it's just you have more choices in the regular 555 you would have to run either the 275 or 315 in the drag.

17x9 Cobra R, I use these on the track and have no problems. They do bulge a little but look the same as my 285 555's.

Yeah, when I put my Nitto 275 555R's up next to my regular Nitto 255 555's, the 275's were almost the exact same width. I wish they made like a 335 555 R in a 40 or 45 series.

22's are too small, fool! You need to ride on 26's, atleast!

Naturally, drove down to Miami and had it put on.

Is there a Nitto style that comes in 285 that has better grip than my Sumo's?
I know the DR's are the best for grip, but they dont have them in 285's
